priya (they/them) is a Queer DJ and producer who is quickly making a name for themselves in the Naarm music community. priya began learning trombone at the age of 12 and played in a number of jazz outfits throughout their teens – this honed musicality is evident both in their productions and their ability to mix with consummate elegance.

priya makes a concerted effort not to affiliate themself with any one genre – their taste and the sounds they work with change like the seasons, ensuring that punters are always on their toes. 

In recent years priya has become a familiar name on the posters of Naarm’s most acclaimed events, recently playing at Animalia, closing a recent Skylab party, and from all accounts astonishing the crowd at Moniker festival amidst the Otway’s last September.
